Description
sappy and highly complex flavors are underpinned by supple tannins that have none of the aggressiveness of the typical '95 today
iron and dried violet joining the herb accents on the lasting finish
This is elegant and seems to have the austerity of a very balanced vintage
This will need to add depth if it is to merit the upper end of my projected range
Paul Jaboulet Aine, Reynard Size:6x750ml sappy and highly complex flavorsRipe blackberries, cassis, violets, orange zest, and black pepper all emerge from the 2023 Cornas Reynard, another nicely concentrated, rich, layered 2023 from Caroline Frey. With medium to full bodied richness, a pure, elegant mouthfeel, and silky tannins, it's going to need just a few years of bottle age, but it's a serious wine.
